As morph moved forward, their wide-ranging interest in all things creative began to be reflected in the scope of projects within which they became involved, from the development of luxury products for Marc Jacobs, shop interiors for Manderina Duck with Michael Young, lighting with Chris Levine, Prada fragrance bottles with David James, a range of ceramics for Harrods, through to working with artists such as Sarah Staton and Gary Hume.

Patrick Norguet

Patrick Norguet

“For me design means the moment of pleasure when one sits in an armchair designed equally well for the backside and the back as for the eye. The shared moment. The right moment. Product design is a business – with the ultimate goal of creating, I try things out, ask questions, try to understand and find solutions. My design is abstract, intellectual and radical. If I had to define my work, it would be more specification design than discourse design.”

DÖGG GUÐMUNDSDÓTTIR

DÖGG GUÐMUNDSDÓTTIR

This Icelandic designer was born in 1970 in Reykjavik and is now based in Copenhagen.

Her works are distinctly influenced by natural materials, organic shapes and traditional craftmanship. The clean language of her style impressively reflect her ability to conceive and convey things in their originality. For her, art and design have an important and mutual contagious association with each other and can therefore be extremly meaningful for people. A special feature of her work is the versatility of the objects and a playful approach to the design. Therefore, many of her designs can serve two different purposes or be used in various ways. Dögg studied industrial Design at the 'Istituto Europeo di Design' in Milan and graduated at the 'Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts' in Copenhagen with a master degree in Design. Her designs have been nominated many times and have been displayed at exhibitions worldwide, such as in New York, Frankfurt, Barcelona, io de Janeiro and Tokyo. Dögg's works are permanently featured at the exhibition of the 'Indianapolis Museum of Art' (USA) and the 'Fond National d'Art Contemporain i Paris' (France).Since 2010 Dögg has been developing innovative furniture and product designs in close collaboration with the Danish architect and designer Rikke Rützou Arnved. They combine traditional Scandinavian design with elements of modern technology and a passion for materials and texture. Their vision is to create 'innovative, sustainable and timeless design' for the people.

KNUT BENDIK HUMLEVIK

KNUT BENDIK HUMLEVIK

Born 1984 in Bergen, Norway and graduated from 'The Royal Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture' in Copenhagen.

Knut has a great interest in the entirety and dynamics of his designs and creations. The pure use of shape in his design is an image of the traditional Scandinavian design and architecture, based on the material's natural ability. For him, design is seeing the balance in a product and trimming away all unnecessary details. Thereby only the raw design will be experienced. His thoroughness for details gives the products the highest standards of functionality and comfort. Following his contemporary artistic style and expertise, he has managed to merge his international inspiration together with the traditional merits from his Scandinavian roots. In 2007 Knut Bendik established KR with business partner Rune Krøjgaard. Together they design products characterized by being functional and pure but maintaining a great understanding of everyday life. For Knut and Rune, simplicity, aesthetics and comfort are the key elements in their creations. Their work has been displayed at numerous Nordic and International exhibitions.

RUNE KRØJGAARD

RUNE KRØJGAARD

Born 1980 in Herning, Denmark.

His works are especially characterized by his high understanding for material and its properties. These are impressively reflected in a very unique, organic and pure use of shapes. A deep fascination for both individual and pure lines, combined with a filigree flair for current trends, shapes the hallmark of his designs. Often, he seeks constructive solutions from heavy industry and adapts them onto relevant products. For Rune design is all about being able to 'see new possibilities' and finding 'the simplicity through the shape and dimension' of a body. Thus his objects are menat to 'complement the eye and the body' and create a 'relation between shape and space'. In this context his Nordic roots and his ties to the classic Scandinavian design are destinct. Influenced by numerous visits to South-East Asia and an accompanying interest in the local, traditional culture of cabinetry, he combines streams of both style elements in an aesthetic form. Rune graduated in studies of Design and Industrial Form at the 'Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts'. His works have been displayed at numerous exhibitions in the Nordic and Baltic region. Since 2007 he has been collaborating closely with the Norwegian designer Knut Bendik Humlevik. Together they design products that are characterized by 'being functional and pure with a sense of normality'. In their words, 'simplicity, aesthetics and comfort' are the key elements of their creations.

VERNER PANTON

VERNER PANTON

Born 1926 in Gamtofte, Denmark.

His versatility and ability to recognize and realize design as a entirety, are the defining style elements of Verner Panton. Undoubtably he is considered as one of the most accepted and most visionary designers of the Danish Design Classics, as well as a pioneer of the modern furniture and interior design. Especially the interaction of colors and geometrical shapes, his specific sense for space, characterize his works. Often, his visions broke with what was considered as infeasible. For him, it was not the wish for 'evolution' but of 'revolution' that drove him. He is both a creator of new style era's and a symbol for timeless design at the same time. Verner Panton described his intention as "the main purpose of my work is to stimulate the people to use their own power of imagination". The stigmatization of furniture contradicted with his ideas. He rather saw the room and the furnishing as an indivisible unit. Resulting, flexibility and functionality are the key features in his creations. His visionary concepts are the basis for the space-age style of the early 70s, which is influential and still popular to this day. The same hold true for his way to work with colors and shapes in a flow, impressively reflecting his appreciation for space and shapes. Due to his interest in geometric shapes, many of his works are ergonomic innovations that are based on both body shapes as well as on a maximum of functionality - giving them the ability to get in line with the overall picture of the room. Again, here Verner Panton is a model for many other designers and artists and an initiator of an alternative, visionary and far-sighted thinking.
Verner Panton studied at the 'Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts'. Early on, he got in contact with other designers of Danish Classics, such as Arne Jacobsen, with whom he participated in the development of 'The Ant Chair'. He considered Poul Henningsen, until his death in 1967, as his mentor. Throughout his career, Verner Panton created numerous significant projects and works.

Panton is multiple awarded for his work, creations and designs.
